Dave Olteanu
Born in the 70’s, raised in the 80’s on a steady diet of skateboarding, punk rock and sci fi/horror films, the weird creative juices got flowing early for me.
Skip forward to after high school where I spent a couple of years working for Walt Disney animation while immersing myself in the Sydney Hardcore music scene where I was fortunate enough to do illustration work for many of my favourite bands.
That of course brings in the world of tattooing, I was lucky to be brought into the industry through the guidance of Shannon Richmond who gave me the skills to remain in the industry for the following 23 years.
I’m happy to do any style of tattooing here at Genbu Tattoo but my favourite is anything in a dynamic illustration style or neo traditional.
