Klaus Huber
“Being able to create original, custom designed tattoos for people is its own reward. To think my art will be with my clients for the rest of their lives is humbling. Tattooing also allowed me to work in Japan on a number of occasions, which was a great experience.”
Klaus has been tattooing for 20 years. He has spent time in some of Sydney’s premier studios before relocating to the Central Coast a decade ago and opening Genbu Tattoo in 2018.
Tattooing was a natural progression from his background in illustration and being in bands through his 20’s, which exposed him to art with skin as the medium.
“I was instantly hooked by tattooing. 5 minutes into getting my first tattoo, I knew I had to find a way to do this. I had no clue where to begin at the time, or what I was getting myself into. But watching the artist tattoo me was enthralling to say the least.”
